WATCH: Emirates cabin crew serenade newly-engaged couple
This fills us with all the warm fuzzies…
If there’s one thing we love, it’s an in-flight marriage proposal. There’s just something about popping the question at 40,000 feet that truly says, “love is in the air”.
Well, Emirates has just delivered us a gift. In a video posted to social media, the airline shared the story of Rachel and Daniel, who recently flew with them from Manchester to Dubai.
Rachel had teamed up with cabin crew to arrange a special surprise for her partner, Daniel, in the A380 onboard lounge.

In the clip, Rachel and Daniel can be seen holding a glass of bubbles while a group of flight attendants sing the Nat King Cole classic, L-O-V-E.
As fellow passengers cheer, Rachel holds out a ring – and Daniel says “yes”. Awww.

This isn’t the first time Emirates cabin crew have helped orchestrate an in-flight proposal.
In 2014, during a flight to Brisbane, one flight attendant showed off her vocal talents, accompanied by the Baradene College Concert Band (who happened to be on the flight).
The band played a beautiful rendition of What a Wonderful World before a passenger got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend.
Once again, it was a definite yes. Not a bad success rate for Emirates, just saying…
