Say ahhh: A Six Senses Spa is opening in Dubai in 2018
Is it too soon to pre-book our 24k gold facial?
Get excited, spa aficionados: A Six Senses Spa is coming to Dubai.
The ultra-luxurious brand can be found in exotic destinations all over the world, with 11 resorts and 30 spas across 20 countries (you might already be familiar with Six Senses Zighy Bay, the popular honeymoon spot on the Musandam Peninsula).
Now, Dubai residents will be able to experience the five-star bliss for themselves when a Six Senses Spa opens in the new Renaissance Downtown Hotel in February.

The new spa will be located on level five of the hotel, and will be home to six treatment suites that are each dedicated to a different sense – sight, sound, touch, taste, smell and intuition.
The “Sound Suite” will feature a special So-Sound Legato Healing Lounger where healing sound vibrations are said to ease away any stress and relax your body and mind, while the “Sight Suite” will boast a relaxation area with circadian rhythm lighting that was originally developed for NASA astronauts.
In the “Touch Suite”, you’ll find a flotation pod, and in the “Taste Suite”, you’ll be able to choose your own ingredients to be used during your hammam treatment. In the “Smell Suite”, you’ll be let loose to blend your own products, including hair masks, body scrubs and wraps.
Finally, the “Beyond Suite” will be a place to set your mind free, with instructors taking you through yoga, stretching and breathing techniques, singing bowl meditation and chakra balancing.
There’s also all the classic spa treatments on offer, including massages, body wraps, and – naturally – a 24k gold facial. This is Dubai, after all.
