It rained in Dubai this morning (and there might be more on the way)
Keep those umbrellas handy…
Just yesterday we reported how UAE temperatures have been creeping towards the 40 degrees Celsius mark. Today, we woke up to rain. Way to keep things interesting, Dubai weather.
Dubai residents were greeted with grey skies and showers this morning, while the mercury dropped to the mid-20s.
Look at the soupy colour of that sky:
Cloudy Dubai sky. Some refreshing light rain 🙂

It’s been a while since we saw raindrops on our windshields:
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), clouds will increase throughout the day, with more rain expected.
Rain in April is not as uncommon as you might think, despite the hotter temperatures – on average, there’s around 7mm of rainfall falling on three days of the month.
April is a transitional period that sees “rapid changes in air pressure distributions” and therefore “rapid changes in weather”, the NCM reports.
