White Dubai has been ranked among the world's best clubs
Sponsored: Top ladies’ nights, A-list fans and superstar performances, here’s why White Dubai should be on every Dubai clubber’s bucket list…
Whether you’ve just arrived in Dubai, or called the emirate home for several years, you’ll likely be familiar with White Dubai.
The sky-high, multi-levelled, futuristic playground at Dubai’s Meydan was the first roopftop super club in the region, and hosts one of the city’s best ladies’ nights on a Saturday, as well as seeing superstar performers grace its stage on a weekly basis.
Now, there’s one more reason to head to White, as the open-air super club has just been ranked number 20 in DJ Mag‘s Top 100 awards for the best clubs in the world. It’s the only club in the Middle East to have made the list, so it’s a huge achievement.
Described as “one of the finest spaces to party in the world” and “a true spectacle, befitting of Dubai” by DJ Mag, the venue was also listed as one of the world’s best rooftop clubs.
And you can see why. White has hosted superstar performances from DJs Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell and Dimitri Vegas, as well as international A-listers like Jason Derulo, Future, Ne-Yo, Bebe Rexha, Rita Ora and Nelly.
But it’s not only work that draws the stars to the open-air venue – Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Kygo have all been spotted enjoying a night out at the super club.
White has also taken centre stage in music videos for Ace Hood’s Trust the Process and Wiz Khalifa’s Laugh Now, Fly Later, with both Tory Lanez and Travis Scott name-checking the super venue in their music.
Since it opened in 2013, White Dubai has firmly cemented itself as one of the city’s most innovative and ground-breaking clubbing experiences.
This season, the super club became one of only a handful of clubs in an elite crew that undergoes a nightly makeover for each of its distinct club nights. On Thursdays, it’s the art-focused Bizaaar, which transforms into Disturbing Dubai on a Friday (an event created by none other than Tinie Tempah), before taking shape as URBN on Saturday night.
White Dubai general manager Elie Saba said: “We constantly strive to innovate, entertain and curate an experience that’s right at the forefront and heart of Dubai club culture.”
And that they do…
