We love this time of year…

The streets of Abu Dhabi will sparkle with thousands of decorative lights throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Abu Dhabi Municipality is busy installing 2,750 illuminated designs that will be be installed on lamp posts, hung from trees and strung across bridges all over the capital.

The designs will be inspired by the spirit of the holy month. As well as crescents and lanterns, expect to see expressions like “Ramadan Kareem” (which means “have a blessed Ramadan”).

The lights will be turned on from Thursday, May 10 and can be enjoyed until the end of Eid Al Fitr.
