They’ll be easy to spot, too. Each eco-friendly space will be marked by a green frame with the words “Environmentally Friendly Vehicles Only” emblazoned across them. An accompanying sign will also display the maximum amount of time the spot can be used for (4 hours), as well as the appropriate fine applicable for any violations.
Part of Dubai’s Green Mobility initiative, this is the first phase in offering free parking for eco-friendly vehicles, with the aim of encouraging more people to adopt emission-saving cars in the future.
