A new app lets you report any illegal or suspicious activity in the capital
It’s available in both English and Arabic…
Abu Dhabi Public Prosecution is calling on members of the public to help combat crime via a new smartphone app.
Available for both iOS and Android, ‘Inform the Prosecution’ allows citizens, residents and tourists to file a report, in both English and Arabic, on any illegal or suspicious activity directly to the authorities.
When filing an incident, important information such as location and time, as well as evidence via a photo or video clip, can be included. The sender can also choose to keep their identity anonymous.
An e-notification will then be sent to the sender’s phone via SMS and legal procedures will be initiated.
