Do you have a bunch of car-related paperwork that needs doing, but can’t get time off over your lunch break to visit an RTA service centre? We feel you.

Thankfully, so does the RTA it seems, because today it launched a brand new self-service centre, that is open all-day, every day.

Located within the Umm Al Ramool Customers Happiness Center close to Rashidiya, the 24/7 air-conditioned kiosk is completely unmanned. Instead, it is outfitted with two self-service machines that provide a range of services including payment of fines, renewal and replacement of lost or damaged driving licenses, and vehicle registration.

Adding to its one-stop-shop nature, visitors can also top up their Salik on the premises, as well as use one of the centre’s computers to submit transactions to the RTA.

If you happen to live on that side of the creek, then visiting it is total no-brainer the next time you need to renew your driving license.
