If you’re looking to experience a true Arabian iftar this Ramadan, we know a hidden gem you’ll want to add to your list. You’ll find it at the stunning Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, at fully air-conditioned Al Hadheerah Ramadan tent.
The restaurant, which you’ll find down a winding path of souks, has transformed into a luxurious fully air-conditioned tent, and it’s putting on a lavish buffet and a special live program every night throughout Ramadan.
At the feast, there’s a walk-around buffet of cold salads, nine live stations and more than 350 traditional and modern iftar dishes to tuck into as you break your fast.
The buffet features Emirati, Egyptian, Syrian and Lebanese culinary creations together with Moroccan, Omani and Iranian savoury selections, as well as special dishes from India and Turkey.
Across the nine interactive cooking stations you’ll find a traditional Arabic BBQ grill, bread making stations, and steak station. Be sure to save room for dessert, as there’s an extensive sweet buffet of Arabic and international treats to finish off your feast.
But this isn’t just about the food. Following an iftar feast at the Al Hadheerah Ramadan tent, guests can enjoy a performance from the oud and Qanoon players as well as the famous camel and horse heritage caravan show and a falcon display, served up alongside a special Ramadan shisha menu.
Plus, if you fancy a go yourself, guests can take advantage of complimentary camel rides too.
