Ever wondered what Abu Dhabi looks like through the eyes of an AI-powered humanoid robot?

Well, you’re about to find out. One of the world’s most famous robots, Sophia, recently paid a visit to the UAE capital, and ticked off some of the city’s top sights.

In a video shared by Etihad Airways, Sophia meets local vlogger Khalid Al Ameri, who offers her some suggestions of things to do.

Sophia then embarks on a whirlwind tour of the city, stopping by the luxurious Emirates Palace and the new Louvre Abu Dhabi.

She thinks Yas Waterworld looks like fun – but quickly realises the water might not go down too well with her circuit.

So she heads to Yas Marina Circuit, noting her best friend would have loved the attraction: “She was a crash test dummy.”

Next Sophia rides the world’s fastest rollercoaster at Ferrari World, before heading out into the desert to catch the sunset.

So, what did she think of Abu Dhabi? At the end of her trip, Sophia declares: “I feel different – like I had an update.”
