Dubai’s nightlife scene is back in business after a short summer break, and it’s bringing plenty of new nights, as well as some old favourites, with it. As well as new nightspots in Soho Garden and Sheikh Zayed road, there’s new club nights, ladies’ nights and live performances to see.
Here are 7 of the best night’s out in Dubai this week.
New night: Let Loose at Inner City Zoo
Teaming up with neighbouring STK, Rixos Premium Nightclub Inner City Zoo has launched ‘Let Loose’ ladies’ night every Tuesday. The after-party for the STK JBR ladies’ night (which offers a set menu and three free drinks for Dhs199), ladies will be able to take advantage of an additional three free drinks from 11pm to 2am at the swanky nightclub.

New night: Luv On 40 at 40 Kong
Every Wednesday, Luv Events are set to take over the rooftop at the H Hotel’s swanky rooftop, 40 Kong. Back after a summer break, and complete with the installation of an air-conditioned roof, expect a night of hip-hop tracks spun by veteran Dubai DJ Skinny Loop.

New club: We are Toyroom at Toy Room
London nightclub Toy Room has just opened at its new home in Soho Garden. Famous for its lively club nights hosted by the mischievous Frank the Bear, the sleek new space as capacity for an impressive 500 club goers. Popular local DJs Junior J, DJ Bliss and Shef Codes will bring open-format tracks to their Thursday and Wednesday nights respectively, while Monday will be for hip-hop hits.

New home: Analog Room at Stereo Arcade
When it returns from summer break on Thursday, June 21, the weekly techno-heavy night Analog Room will now call the hip, ’80s-inspired Stereo Arcade nightclub in JBR its new home. Headlining proceedings will be DJ Nobu, an avant-garde Japanese selector who the night’s promoter and co-founder, Mehdi Ansari, says “is really hot right now and [has] been rocking some of the best parties around the world.” He’s not wrong, either. Nobu will be hitting Dubai directly after a stint at the popular electronic music festival Sonar in Barcelona before heading off to spin at Berlin’s legendary Berghain nightclub.

Live performance: OT Genasis at BOA
American hip-hop star OT Genasis is returning to Dubai this week for three club performances. On Thursday, catch him at Dubai Marina nightclub XL, followed by headlining Bling Friday’s at BOA in Habtoor City on Friday June 22. Advanced bookings for BOA are recommended, as their weekly urban night is one of the city’s most popular. His final performance will be next week at Dome, for their Tuesday ladies’ night.

New bar: The House Party Bar
Already home to the swanky Cavalli Club, wild Cirque Le Soir and lively dinner and a show experience, Bistrot Bagatelle, The House Party Bar is the next venue that’s come to the hotel for a slice of the action in the Fairmont Dubai. It might not be the most inventive name we’ve ever heard for the bar, but there’s no confused identity here. Serving up retro house parties complete with arcade games, pizza, red cups, beer pong and Nintendo, if you’re looking to relive your college days, this might just become your summer hangout.

New brunch: Tropical Brunch at Zero Gravity
Summer may have struck, but if you brave the heat (and stay in the shade), there’s not one but two new brunches launching at Zero Gravity this weekend. On Friday, the beach club is undergoing a tropical makeover for the Tropical Brunch, and serving up four hours of poolside beats, a new menu serving dishes such as Chicken & Pineapple Salad, Jamaican Beef Patties and Hawaiian Pizza Jerk Chicken washed down with unlimited drinks. On Saturdays, a summer version of their legendary supernatural brunch will takeover, priced at Dhs249 for ladies and Dhs299 for guys.
