Salvador Dali exhibition opening in Dubai later this month
Around 60 iconic works by the surrealist master will be on display
Art aficionados take note, the works of Spanish master surrealist Salvador Dali will be on show at COYA Dubai later this month.
The popular Latin American restaurant (and 2016 What’s On Restaurant of the Year award winner), located at the Four Seasons Resort in Jumeirah, will be showcasing around 60 of the artist’s iconic pieces when the ‘World of Dali’ exhibition opens on Tuesday, June 19.
Born in Catalonia, Spain in 1904, Dali best-known work, The Persistence of Memory, is a defining piece of surrealist art. While this particular masterpiece won’t be on show, visitors will be able to see other iconic works by the artist including Surrealist Flower Girl and Space Elephant.

The exhibition, organised in collaboration with UAE art and cultural development company Alpha Soul, will be free to attend and include lithographs and photographs sourced from private collections all over the world.
“Guests are invited to step inside the World of Dali and experience the master’s creative mood, working environment, close relations and artists sensibility,” notes an official statement from the organisers.
The exhibition will run until the end of August 2018.
