Smart fire alarms with 24-hour monitoring to be fitted in UAE homes
This should make things much safer for everyone…
Etisalat and the UAE Ministry of Interior have signed an agreement that will allow the telecommunications company to begin installing smart fire alarm systems in homes and commercial properties across the UAE.
The systems will be linked to the central Civil Defence operations room and the two parties will work together in supplying, installing, operating and maintaining the connected devices.

Another handy feature of the smart alarms is that they will be able to offer 24-hour monitoring even if there is a power-cut or access to Etisalat services are down, confirms a report from Gulf News.
The joint venture falls in line with the UAE government accelerators for emergency response time and improving public safety measures.
Applications for the new smart fire alarms systems can be registered right now via the Ministry of Interior website.
