Dubai International Hotel has 12 and 24-hour options to rest your weary head…

Dubai International Hotel has rolled out new short and long transit packages for stays up to 12 and 24 hours respectively for travellers passing through Dubai International this summer.

The 12-hour package comprises a Deluxe Room, Ahlan Meet & Greet on arrival or departure and Timeless Spa 15-minute Express Treatment starting from Dhs500. While the 24-hour package starting at Dhs650 includes these same perks plus a three-course meal at The Gallery. Double and Triple rooms are also available.

According to Gulf Business, more than half of Dubai International airport’s total passengers are catching connecting flights – around a whopping 4.5 million passengers each month – and these new transit packages are designed to provide a better level of services for them.

The UAE has also recently announced new transit visas for travellers granting them 48-hour entry into the country at no cost, with the possibility of extension to 96 hours for a fee of Dhs50.
