Dubai Police posted a series of videos to their social media over the weekend that showed them foiling an international criminal plot to smuggle some 46 luxury cars out of the UAE by sea.

Worth up to a whopping Dhs11 million, the list of car brands seized reads like a who’s who of everything we wish we could drive, including Bentley, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, Lexus and more.


The video shows how the vehicles were hidden individually in shipping containers and were discovered before they were able to be smuggled out of the country.

According to the description that accompanied the footage, police apprehended the four gangs responsible thanks to a coordinated effort by the General Department of Criminal Investigation.
