You can now use Apple Pay to pay for a number of RTA services
Top up your NOL card, renew your driving licence, pay fines and more, all using just your iPhone…
Good news if you have an iPhone – Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has just announced that you’ll now be able to use Apple Pay to process the payment for a number of services directly from your smartphone.
This is done via the RTA app, which provides a “quick and safe” environment for customers to maker secure payments, noted an official statement about the launch.

The services that it will be possible to pay for using Apple Pay now include, NOL card top-up, parking account recharging, vehicle registration and driving licence renewal, lost driving licence replacement and various fines.
Apple Pay is a contactless payment system exclusive to Apple’s suite of products. It allows you to simply tap your iPhone (or Apple Watch) to pay for things around Dubai, without the need to whip out cash or your credit/debit card.
