Two days of free parking for the holiday.

Hanging around Abu Dhabi for the long weekend? The good news is the Department of Transport has announced two days of free parking for Islamic New Year.

Abu Dhabi’s parking bays will be free of charge starting from Thursday, September 13 to Saturday, September 15 at 7.59am.

دائرة_النقل تعلن عن مجانية المواقف في عطلة رأس السنة الهجرية في #أبوظبي بدءاً من يوم الخميس الموافق 13 سبتمبر حتى الساعة 7:59 من صباح يوم السبت الموافق 15 سبتمبر2018. . وتنوه الدائرة إلى ضرورة عدم الوقوف في الأماكن الممنوعة وعدم إعاقة حركة المركبات والتوقف بشكل صحيح في الأماكن المخصصة للوقوف، وكذلك عدم الوقوف في الأماكن المخصصة للسكان من الساعة 9.00 مساءً وحتى الساعة 8:00 صباحاً . . The Department of Transport (DoT) in #AbuDhabi announces that its surface parking bays will be free of charge starting from Thursday, September 13, 2018 to Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 7:59 am on the Hijri new year’s holiday. DoT urges the public not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and not to block vehicles or traffic flow. It also requested to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays from 09:00 PM to 08:00 AM.

Both the public and private sectors will enjoy a day off on Thursday, September 13 for the holiday, which celebrates Prophet Mohammed’s journey from Makkah to Madinah.
