Sad news, Mahiki Dubai is closing down
It’s the end of an era…
One of Dubai’s best-loved clubs, Mahiki Dubai, is set to close its doors tonight (Thursday) after seven years.
But it won’t be going quietly, as the tiki club is throwing one final hurrah tonight to say farewell. Doors will open from 7pm, with DJ Mister Mistry and Neil T spinning until 3am.
The Polynesian-themed party club arrived in Dubai from London back in 2011 and fast became one of the city’s top spots for a great night out.

Its packed-out ladies’ night saw it crowned Best Ladies’ Night at the What’s On Nightlife Awards earlier this year, and it’s also been the chosen party spot of celebrities including Niall Horan, Little Mix and Ryan Giggs over the last seven years.
Mahiki Dubai remained the only spot open in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel when it closed for renovations in May 2018, following the news that iconic Dubai bar 360 was closing down, and beach club Cove Beach would relocate.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances during the renovation of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, we are unable to operate for the next couple of months, so we have decided to use this occasion to close this seven-year milestone and embark on a new chapter as we prepare for what Mahiki will bring in 2019,” club management said in a statement.
We can’t wait to see what’s next for the iconic club, but in the meantime, we’ll meet you on the dancefloor for one final hurrah.
Mahiki, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah, 7pm to 3am, free entry, door policy applies. Tel:(055) 2160 181. More info on website
