Pop sensation turned beauty mogul Rihanna was in Dubai to host her first ever beauty talk, joined by makeup artists Priscilla Ono and Hector Espinal at Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa. Afterwards, she made an unexpected visit to Sephora at The Dubai Mall to promote her Fenty Beauty brand, where she happily posed with fans, answered questions, and even helped one mega-fan with her highlight.

Who knew American singer Akon and South African DJ Black Coffee were friends? The duo were both in Dubai to play huge gigs (Akon at White, Black Coffee at Blue Marlin). But once his Blue Marlin gig finished, Black Coffee headed straight to White to party alongside American rapper Akon, with the duo both posting this pic to their social media as they caught up.

American rapper Takeshi 6ix9ine has really been making the most of his first trip to the region. Like most of us, he’s made a visit to the Dubai desert (unlike most of us it was in a rainbow coloured Lamborghini). But the star also made time to dine at Salt Bae’s Nusr-Et (he also made sure to eat a gold-covered steak) and performed twice at super club, Base.
