It’s almost November and as we say goodbye to October, we say hello to a brand new month of activities across the city, and it’s looking like a massive one.
From comedy and festivals to new beach clubs and the return of the annual What’s On Awards which you can be a part of for the first time ever, we’ve rounded up all the best things we can’t wait for this month.

November 3: Glam up for an all-white pool party
Nikki Beach Dubai’s annual white party celebration is one of the biggest parties of the year, and it’s returning on Saturday November 3. The party comes with a strict, all-white dress code and promises live music, street performers and huge champagne shows. Each year the huge day to night party takes on a brand new theme, with this year’s celebration centering around ‘The Future Is Here’. Promising to ‘transport guests to a place where the imagination is re-engaged through entertainment and interactive experiences’, we can’t wait to see what the swanky beach club has in store.

November 5 to 9: Dine at the hands of a celebrity chef
Want to rub shoulders with a celebrity chef? You can this November, as British chef and Strictly Come Dancing alum Simon Rimmer is returning to the pots and pans at his Dubai outpost, The Scene by Simon Rimmer for five nights to celebrate the venues 4th birthday. Guests will be able to book meet & greets with the man himself between 6pm to 10pm daily from Monday November 5 to Friday November 9.

November 9: Party at the opening of a new beach club
Cove Beach will be reopening at its new home at Caesar’s Palace Bluewaters on Friday November 9. Celebrating with a huge opening party, the swanky new space will kick off with party brand, Ritual, who will bring their signature day-to-night parties from London to Dubai for the first time. Famed for their house and techno parties with a tribal element, Brit DJ Secondcity will headline, supported by some special guests..

November 10: Work up a sweat at the happiest 5km on the planet
Dubbed the ‘happiest 5km on the planet’, The Color Run presented by Daman is returning to Dubai Autodrome on Saturday November 10. Now in its sixth year, the un-timed, family friendly fun run sees thousands of participants run, walk, hop, skip or dance their way round the 5km track, getting doused from head to toe in different coloured paints and foam as they go.

November date TBC: Check out some blooms at a unique outdoor attraction
It’s one of Dubai’s best-loved attractions, and although a date still hasn’t been revealed, we’re looking forward to the reopening of Dubai Miracle Garden this November. The unique outdoor destination, which is home to more than 100 million blooms of over 70 flower varieties, will likely open for it’s seventh year in the middle of the month, with a brand new theme.

November 11: Celebrate the region’s top movers and shakers at the What’s On Awards Dubai
It’s one of the biggest events in the calendar for hospitality professionals across Dubai, and after months of voting, we reveal the public’s top restaurants, bars, leisure and entertainment events across the region in a glitzy ceremony in the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. November 20: Laugh out loud with a famous comedian
Famed for his big, brash brand of comedy, actor and comedian Dave Chappelle is set to make his return to the UAE this month. With an impressive career spanning more than 30 years, his return to the UAE comes a year after the comedian released four stand-up specials on Netflix to huge success. He’s since won two television Emmy Awards, a Grammy and the Pollstar’s Comedy Tour of the Year Award.

November 22 to 25: Head to the capital for some racing action
It’s the 10th year of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this year, and it’s tipped to be the biggest yet. Although Lewis Hamilton has already secured his fifth Championship title with two races to go, there will still be plenty of action both on and off the track with brunches, concerts and after parties galore taking place across the four day festivities. A number of tickets and packages have already sold out, so be sure to get your tickets before it’s too late.

November date TBC: Sip sundowners at a stunning new resto-bar
Another addition to the new Bluewaters Island is going to be homegrown concept, The London Project. The split-level restaurant and bar is split into a ground floor restaurant and bar, inspired by ‘the form of a living tree’, and an upstairs gin garden, which is modeled on a wild, overgrown English country garden.

November 29 and 30: Party hard at a two-day EDM festival
A massive mash-up festival of Chinese culture and EDM music is set to land at Dubai’s Meydan Hotel this November. Brought to you by Envie Events (who put on other big EDM festivals such as Unite with Tomorrowland and Sensation), Bao Festival will bring more than a dozen EDM artists to the region, including DJ Mag top 100 heavyweights Martin Garrix and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
