Emirates begins direct flights between Dubai and Edinburgh
Now you’ve no excuse to not visit the Scottish capital…
Emirates will begin direct flights between Dubai and Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland from this morning, Monday October 1.
This will be the second destination in Scotland after the twice-daily flights to Glasgow that the Dubai-based airline currently offers.

The Dubai-based carrier initially announced a daily service from Dubai International Airport to Edinburgh Airport, but it has been revised to five times a week. A daily service is expected to begin from June 1, 2019.
The route, which will take approximately seven hours each way, is also conveniently timed for connecting Emirates’ flights to popular outbound destinations for Scottish travellers passing through Dubai.
The new service will be operated by an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER, and feature 8 private First Class suites, 42 lie flat Business Class seats, and 304 seats in Economy Class.
One-way tickets currently start from Dhs1,280.
