Recently revamped: Toro Toro

After a month-long refurb, Toro Toro has just reopened its doors in Grosvenor House. The Pan-Latin spot now boasts an open kitchen, flashes of foliage, tribal Latin patterns, dark walls and warm leather furniture mish mashed with fur and fabric cushions. On the menu, expect signature favourites to remain with a selection of exciting new dishes added. And, fans of their popular Monday ladies’ night will be pleased to hear that that will be returning too.

Truffle menu: World Cut Steakhouse

The World Cut Steakhouse is celebrating ‘Truffle Month’ from November 7 to 31 with a limited edition set menu. Priced at Dhs385 per person, the menu starts with black truffle fritters, followed by a beef carpaccio or truffle mushroom soup. From there, there will be a palate cleanser and then a main course of two truffle-based options, followed by a ‘truffle dream’ dessert. One house beverage is also included in the package.

The secret menus: BB Social Dining

We’re big fans of BB Social Dining in DIFC, so much so that we struggle to pick our favourites from the menu. Which is why we’re pleased they’ve introduced the #BBSecretMenu dishes, where head chef Alex Stumpf will select and create specialist dishes for you that may or may not be on the menu. Examples include wasabi lobster, lamb kofta bao and sea bream ceviche.
