Dubai is the mini-break and stopover favourite for the world’s rich and famous.
With so many A-listers (and B, C and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, it can be hard to keep track of who was spotted where.
So in case you were wondering who to keep an eye out for at The Dubai Mall, we’ve put together a list of some of the famous faces spotted in Dubai and the UAE this week…
Dua Lipa
New Rules singer Dua Lipa was in the capital last week to celebrate the first birthday of the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Unfortunately, a freak rainstorm meant her concert had to be called off at the last minute. The singer still made the most of her time in the emirate, telling fans on Twitter: “D’you know what, today was actually really special. I got to hang out in Abu Dhabi and see the Louvre here and I had a really fun soundcheck while prepping for the show its just a shame the weather took a turn for the worst.”
Lionel Messi
Football superstar Lionel Messi is enjoying a family holiday in Dubai this week, and has been hitting up some top attractions such as Dubai Parks & Resorts and Laguna Waterpark at La Mer. Here’s a snap of the pro player being given an official tour of the waterpark.
Paul Pogba
Lionel Messi wasn’t the only football star in town this week – he was spotted dining with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba at Salt Bae’s restaurant, Nusr-Et Dubai. Here’s a picture of the trio:

Naomi Campbell
Supermodel/undisputed runway queen Naomi Campbell was in Dubai this week as part of the celebrations for The Dubai Mall’s 10th birthday. She shared this glamorous snap to her Instagram, wearing a dress by Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran.
Daniel Sturridge
Yet another football star – Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge – was spotted in Dubai over the weekend. He was snapped at celebrity hotspot Miss Lily’s, in the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Sam Gowland
It wouldn’t be a normal week in Dubai without a Love Island star passing through, and this week we welcomed Sam Gowland. The reality star – who is also in Geordie Shore – hit up all the cool spots, describing the city as his “favourite place in the world”.
