Iranian–American chef Ariana Bundy is the latest celebrity chef to announce she’s opening a restaurant in The Royal Atlantis hotel. Called Ariana’s Persian Kitchen, the first restaurant by the TV chef will open in September 2019.
The upcoming restaurant promises a modern take on traditional Persian cuisine, with a ‘revolutionary and enticing menu, inspiring decor and next-level hospitality’.
Served family style, guests can expect signature dishes such as Ariana’s Caspian-style filet kabab, rose-scented sea bass, a colorful array of new mazzeh dishes, and her take on classic Persian ice cream with saffron, pistachios and rose water. Meals will be complemented by a range of specially created cordials and drinks as well as traditional Persian tea and’ Baghlava’.
The 140-seater restaurant will be centred around an extensive show kitchen indoors, while outside, you’ll find a garden terrace lined with wooden day beds that overlook the Dubai skyline.
Already an established cookbook author and TV chef, Ariana Bundy has made it her mission to bring Persian cuisine to a wider audience. First exposed to the food industry by her restauranteur father, Bundy has written several cookbooks as well as producing eight-part cookery and travel series ‘Ariana’s Persian Kitchen’.
Bundy joins Heston Blumenthal and Jose Andres, who have already announced their plans to open restaurants in the new five-star resort on the Palm Jumeirah.
Elsewhere, The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences will feature over 90 swimming pools including a stunning rooftop infinity pool suspended 90 meters above The Palm, relaxing private beaches and further soon to be announced restaurants by award-winning celebrity chefs.
