This iftar is committed to reducing food waste this Ramadan

Iftar is a special time for friends and family to come together and share a meal, appreciating the food they have in front of them. Sadly many of these meals, whether at home or dining out, are too large to be finished by everyone at the table so goes to waste.
In a time where people are thinking about the less fortunate, it’s great to see restaurants who are committed to reducing the amount of food that goes to waste from their venue.
Vida Downtown is hosting a daily iftar at its 3in1 restaurant this Ramadan, and the offering has a focus on waste-reduction by giving guests the opportunity to choose their main dishes and have them prepared to order. There’s a choice of five main courses, so not only does this give you freedom to choose only the mains that you truly enjoy, you can also order as many mains as you like, so won’t be left hungry.
There’s no need to wait around before feasting as 3in1’s buffet features a selection of hot and cold appetisers to enjoy while your main courses are being prepared. The final course will also be on a tempting display, so you can go and choose as many traditional desserts as you desire.
It’s a three-day rotational menu, offering traditional options including lamb ouzi, kofta khashkhash, chicken shish taouk, chicken mloukhieh, lamb kofta, and more. Take your time to choose wisely, but of course if you’re still hungry, then you can order more.
Relax and have fun as 3in1 offers a range of fun and competitive games such as chess and cards for your group to play throughout the evening.
The iftar runs from sunset to 10pm, giving plenty of time to relax and enjoy your meal, and costs only Dh180. You can also join for suhoor from 10pm to midnight and choose any dishes from the a la carte menu. If you’re looking to book for a group, Vida also has a great offer where for every nine guests on the table, the tenth will be free.
