Ramadan is a time of tranquillity and reflection, and an opportunity to reconnect with family. To honour this special time of year, Grand Hyatt Dubai has dedicated iftar and suhoor experiences for you to treasure with loved ones…
Grand iftar
Bigger and better than ever before, the Grand iftar takes place at Grand Hyatt Dubai’s dedicated Ramadan tent, which has been relocated and redesigned to host up to 750 guests – inspired by the Alhambra palace in Granada, Spain – with a dedicated entrance from the main road and set up in a lush garden oasis in the city, something that can’t be found at any other hotel in the city. Expect a sumptuous buffet with a variety of live cooking stations prepared by chefs born and bred in the Middle East, so you can expect the most authentic of cuisines.Highlights include freshly made kunafe, prepared by the hotel’s Arabic sweets specialists.
Iftar is available from sunset to 8.30pm and costs Dhs210; Dhs105 children from 6 to 12 years; under-sixes free
Grand suhoor
Suhoor is also happening at the new and improved Laylati Café. Shisha, of varying flavours, are available to order. Entry is strictly for over 18s.
Suhoor is available from 8.30pm to 3am and the cover charge costs Dhs35 per person from Sat to Wed, and Dhs50 per person on Thur and Fri.
Ladies-only Suhoor, Hia, at Awtar
Hia is the very first exclusive over-18 ladies suhoor at Awtar. The cover charge from Saturday to Wednesday is Dhs50 and Dhs75 on Thursday and Friday. Set menus and shisha available. Strictly over 18s only.
This year, for the holy month of Ramadan, guests will be joining the Grand Hyatt Dubai charity drive held in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation. The world-class city resort hotel will donate proceeds for every bill charged during iftar to the Al Jalila Foundation. The proceeds will be used by the organisation to support pediatric treatments.
