This initiative is helping to feed the community this Ramadan, and you can too...
Whether you can give your time or your money, a little will go a long way…
Did you know there’s a Dubai-based initiative preparing more than 3,000 meals a day for those in need over Ramadan?
Feed One More is a campaign created by Classics Catering and has taken place every Ramadan for the past five years. The catering solutions company’s initiative is registered with Red Crescent and Dubai Cares to give back to the community during Ramadan.
Every year for 30 days, Classics Catering, along with much-needed volunteers, donate their precious time to prepare over 3,000 meals per day for their community. Their goal this year is to prepare 100,000 meals before the end of Ramadan.
All of the meals are prepared in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) and distributed during iftar to lower-income workers in six DIP locations. This crucial work seeks to offer the less-fortunate a chance to enjoy a nutritious iftar meal that they might have otherwise missed out on.

The driving force behind the operation comes from the Classics Catering team, but also the hundreds of volunteers who have chosen to give back to the community during the Holy Month. Members of the community who wish to help them reach their goal can volunteer by getting in touch with the team.
Those who would like to help, but don’t have the time or means of volunteering, can assist the great work by donating money, which will go towards ingredients for the meals. Each meal costs just Dhs10.50, so a little really does go a long way.
Spokesperson Chef Bobby Kapoor said, “This was something that started as a small initiative and has grown steadily over the years. It’s all about compassion and helping fellow mankind who are less fortunate. It’s moving to see the community come together participating in small acts of kindness in the spirit of Ramadan.”
