Travis Scott confirmed to headline at the 2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The hip hop superstar is the first of four artists to headline at the 2019 Abu Dhabi F1…
After a first clue was released yesterday, we thought we knew it, and it’s now been confirmed that hip hop superstar Travis Scott will headline at the Yasalam After-Race Concert at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019.
Scott will perform at du Arena, Yas Island, on Friday, 29 November, the second of four after race concerts.
Yesterday, Yas Marina Circuit released a clue on their Instagram page of three emojis; a cactus, an eagle, and a flame – which all seemed to point to one star – the American rapper.

Why? Well, Scott goes by the names La Flame and Cactus Jack, and he also released his Air Jordan 1 “Cactus Jack” limited-edition sneakers with Nike last year.
Travis Scott also had a huge A-list birthday party a few weeks ago, which was created entirely under the ‘Cactus Jack’ theme.
It seems the eagle refers to his previous shows, where he’s taken to the top of an eagle to perform. As you do.
Anyone that caught his ASTROWORLD tour in person or on social media will know that it was a spectacular production, so visitors to the F1 can expect nothing less from his performance in Abu Dhabi later this year. Fan’s can expect some of his world-famous hits such as ‘Sicko Mode’, ‘Antidote’ and ‘Yosemite’.
John Lickrish, Flash Entertainment CEO, said: “Consistently ‘One of Spotify’s 100 Most Streamed Artists in the World’, his total streams surpassed 1 billion by 2017 with album sales exceeding 1 million to date, making him one of the most in-demand performers of the moment. We are thrilled to announce him as the first of our four consecutive Yasalam After-Race Concerts.”
To catch the concert, as always you’ll need to be a ticket holder for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Fans can also take their night one step further by purchasing a ‘Golden Circle’ upgrade, starting from Dhs195.
Travis Scott is one of four artists set to be announced for the 2019 after race concerts. Last year saw The Weeknd, Sam Smith and legendary rockers Guns n Roses perform, so we can’t wait to see who else joins the line up.
