Thursday: all’onda

Cosa Nostra is the new evening brunch taking place every Thursday at Emerald Palace Kempinski’s Italian Venetian restaurant, all’onda. From 8pm to 11pm, enjoy baked stuffed mushrooms, spaghetti carbonara and tomato rigatoni as well as a selection of sushi and unlimited drinks. Thursday: The Stage Brunch

The Stage Brunch proved so popular at Pizza Express JLT, they started it at a second location – Pizza Express Live in Business Bay. Great value, live music and a busy atmosphere, it’s no wonder it’s become a firm favourite in the city – not to mention a What’s On award-winner. For Dhs225 you’ll get delicious sharing starters, a la carte main and free-flowing house beverages.

Thursday: Accents

If you’re looking for a wallet-friendly option for a Thursday evening brunch, Dhs249 for four hours unlimited food and house bevvies should do the trick. The brunch will take you on a trip down memory lane, with hits from 80s, 90s and Brit pop to keep you on your feet all night. Soft drinks are Dhs199, house is Dhs249 and sparkling is Dhs299.

Thursday: Publique

Publique, the Alpine-themed restaurant in the Madinat Jumeirah, have an evening brunch package that runs from Saturday to Thursday from 8pm to 11pm. The cost is usually Dhs345 for three hours with a minimum booking of four guests but at the moment you can avail their summer deal for Dhs245, valid until the end of September. All brunch groups will get an ‘instructor’ that will guide them through the authentic alpine journey. A selection of starters will be served directly to the table, each guest can then choose a main of their choice, followed by cheese raclette and chocolate fondue to share, and wash it down with unlimited house beverages.

Thursday: McGettigans

McGettigans is a cosy Irish watering hole with no frills but plenty of fun. For a very reasonable Dhs230, you’ll get a three-course meal and unlimited house drinks every Thursday from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. They’ll keep things lively with live music and a DJ to get you on your feet.

Thursday: Copper Dog

JBR pub, Copper Dog, has launched an evening brunch happening every Thursday from 8pm to 11pm. Expect an array of authentic pub grub including sliders, nachos, ribs and wings, all washed down with beer, wine, cocktails or spirits. There’s a live band playing before DJ Andy Swift kicks off the party into the evening. You can also enjoy games of pool or beer pong in the games room.

Thursday: Bar Rumba

This brand new speakeasy bar has just opened up in the equally brand new hotel, VIDA Emirates Hills. It’s got a chilled out vibe and is the perfect spot to head to get a good brunch deal, when you don’t really want the craziness of a regular Dubai brunch. The food is served sharing-style with platters including chicken wings, calamari and Wagyu burgers.

Blushing Dragon at Karma Kafe

STK’s brunches have become somewhat legendary thanks to their delicious food, lively entertainment and party atmosphere. So much so, they’re usually booked up at least a month in advance (sorry, you might need some time to plan this). They do an evening brunch on a Thursday, ‘Rare’, where you’ll get shared starters, an a la carte main and free flowing drinks for Dhs349. Fridays you’ll get their Double Dare to Brunch with prices starting from Dhs599 for food and house beverages.

Friday: Seven Sisters

While this one isn’t exactly an evening offering, it’s worth a mention. Seven Sisters has a fantastic mid-afternoon option for those who don’t like to start too early, that kicks off every Friday at 3pm. Although it’s a canal side rooftop spot, you don’t need to worry about getting too hot -as they have a cooling tent up during the summer months. You can get the house drinks package for Dhs249 or food and house drinks for Dhs349.

Friday: Ammos

Missed Ammos’ afternoon brunch? Fear not, they do an evening version of their Greek ‘Legasea’ brunch on a Friday evening too. Running from 7pm to 10pm, tuck into authentic cuisine including mezze platters  served up to the sounds of traditional Greek music.
