While beach clubs including Cove Beach, Zero Gravity, Wet Deck and Andreaa’s have been our go-to summer hangout spots for a cool pool day or lively ladies’ day, with the new winter season due to start soon, some of the best loved beach clubs are getting ready to throw open their doors once more.
Here, we round up all the Dubai beach club reopening dates you need to know about.
Drift Beach: Already reopened
Super-luxe Dubai beach club DRIFT Beach Dubai closed for a short summer hiatus but opened for the new season on Friday August 23. Entry prices will be a flat rate of Dhs200 until the end of September, so grab your girls and don your best swimsuits for those seriously envy-inducing Instagram shots.

The world-renowned Nikki Beach on Pearl Jumeira will kick things off for the new season with a glamourous opening party, ‘La Piscine’, a tribute to classic Cote D’Azur style food and drinks on Friday August 30. Playa Nomade: September date TBC
This stripped back, nomadic beach club closed for summer rather abruptly, but with a few tweaks to the menu and design, we’re advised it will open again in September, with a date still yet to be confirmed. Found right on the end of the East Crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, it was popular for its Saturday ‘La Familia’ brunch last season, so we hope they bring it back.
Playa Nomade, Rixos The Palm, Palm Jumeirah, reopening September 2019. Tel: (054) 449 6464. Facebook.com/playanomadedubai
Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE: Friday September 13
Blue Marlin is a stalwart among Dubai’s party hard beach clubs, and will reopen for its eighth year on Friday September 13 with Iranian-American house and techno DJ, Dubfire. Opening on Fridays and Saturdays each week, entry is free if you’re either dining, or on guestlist for their Friday day-to-night party, which regularly flies in international acts to headline. Although there’s no word yet, we hope their Saturday beach brunch also returns for season 8.
Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE, Al Jazira Hotels and Resort, Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi, 1pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday, from September 13. Tel: (056) 113 3400. bluemarlinibiza-uae.com
Summersalt: Date TBC
This Jumeirah Al Naseem spot is quite literally under the shadow of the Burj, but don’t worry, it’ won’t stop your tan game. The luxury beach club has a white sand beach, infinity pool and music that’s just loud enough to add atmosphere. Go in the morning if you want to read a book, or head there in the afternoon if you’re after a livelier vibe. It’s currently closed for summer, but is expected to open in the next few weeks.
Jumeirah Al Naseem, Dubai, daily 9am to 6pm, reopening date TBC. Tel: (04) 366 7680. jumeirah.com
Soho Beach: October date TBC
While Soho Beach is not found by the beach, it’s worthy of a shoutout for it’s supersized pool and cabanas lined with private jacuzzi’s. Soho Beach opens for its award-winning ladies’ day on a Tuesday, as well as on Fridays and Saturdays. Keep your eye on social media as Soho Beach transforms into a huge events space for festivals several times a year – and they’re some of the city’s most unmissable parties.

And a brand new one…
Nammos: Thursday November 7
A slice of the Greek party island of Mykonos is coming to Dubai, as Nammos beach club has announced it is opening in the Emirate. As well as serving up chilled out beach vibes by day, Nammos is known as a lively party spot for top Mediterranean dishes, and also hosts one-off beach parties by night. We hope it brings them all to the Four Seasons Jumeirah when it opens in November.
