If your child is already an amateur golfer, or you’re looking to get them into a new hobby as we head into the winter season, why not check out the brilliant junior golf programs at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and Emirates Golf Club.
There are three programs: Little Champions, Junior Programme, and Junior Elites, which are all curated by world class tour coach, Peter Cowen. Cowen teaches players like Brooks Koepka, Gary Woodland, Ian Poulter and Henrik Stenson so, you know your little ones are in expert hands.
The Little Champions program is designed for children aged four to eight, and is an ideal way to introduce your child to the game of golf. They’ll learn the core techniques and rules, all while working on key movements and skills needed to progress.
Designed with children aged seven to 17 in mind, the Junior Programme puts a greater focus on the physical, etiquette, rules and on course performance areas of the game.
The Junior Elites program is the first of its kind in the UAE, lead by Peter Cowen trained PGA professionals. The four weekly classes are specially curated for young talented golfers to hone their skills while gaining experience in competitive play.
Classes are available daily at the three golf courses, with prices from Dhs870 per semester of eight lessons.
