It’s time to unleash your inner Disney Princess….

It’s a Tale As Old As Time, and if you’re wanting to catch Beauty and the Beast on the big screen, you need to get yourself to Dubai Opera this weekend.

The iconic Downtown venue will be transforming into a super sized cinema for a special, one-off screening of the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast on Friday August 16. Best of all, it’s a sing-along version, so guests can embrace their inner Belle – or Beast – as they belt out each song.

You’ll be able to sing your heart out to Beauty and the Beast, Belle and Be Our Guest, as well as all the other brilliant hits from the film.

The showing (and singing) starts at 8pm, with tickets priced at Dhs60 for a regular adult ticket, and Dhs40 for a child ticket, available for children under 12. There’s also the option to purchase a child ticket with a drink and popcorn for Dhs65, or an adult ticket for Dhs120, which includes entry to the movie, and free flowing house beverages beforehand from 7pm to 8pm.

The Beauty and the Beast sing-along is one of 48 Disney movies Dubai Opera is showing as part of its Dubai Opera Film Festival from August 15 to 30.

Across the two weeks, Dubai Opera will show an array of Disney classics, celebrating animated and live action titles from all decades.

This mega movie marathon will show four different films each day, at 9.30am, 1pm, 4.30pm and 8pm. The incredible movie list includes classics such as The Little Mermaid, Lady and the Tramp, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Bedknobs And Broomsticks, The Aristocats, Honey I Shrunk the Kids and many more.
