It’s already been confirmed that there’s a dry night in Dubai this weekend, with no alcohol being served from 6.30pm on Saturday August 31, until 7.30pm on Sunday September 1.

Because of this, the aptly named Not Another Ladies’ Day at W Dubai – The Palm is bringing its Wet Deck pool party forward a day, hosting a one-off ladies’ day on Saturday August 31.

It’ll be exactly the same deal, running from 12pm to 4pm. The four-hour package offers unlimited free flowing drinks and a selection of bites for Dhs150 for ladies.

Although still dependent on the sighting of the moon, it’s expected that it’s going to be a long weekend in Dubai this weekend, on the occasion of Islamic New Year. So, with (hopefully) no work on Sunday, it’s the perfect excuse for a pool party.

Wet Deck aren’t the only ones bringing their pool party a day early due to the dry night. Vogue at Azure beach, the night time pool party that runs every Saturday, will be moved to Friday August 30 this weekend.

Doors open at 8pm, with free entry for ladies, Dhs200 entry for couples including one food and drink voucher and guys paying Dhs400 including two food and drink vouchers.

DJs will be on hand to spin the hottest hip hop and R&B hits through until 1am.
