If you’ve been waiting for the right time to pick up that new phone, a cool drone, or the latest laptop, now’s the perfect time because Gitex Shopper 2019 is back again at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Running for five days from Tuesday September 24 to Saturday September 28, apart from finding more than 100,000 gadgets, visitors will also be able to win daily prizes, walk away with some cool giveaways and also catch up with some of the latest technologies in the market.
For gamers, there’ll be numerous PC and console tournaments throughout the five-day event. A dedicated area for VR enthusiasts will allow gamers to try out Fruit Ninja, The Laser Bat, Angry Birds, Vacation Simulator, and more.
For shoppers, exclusive discounts and deals on products and accessories will also be available, so if you’ve rage smashed your controller during your last game – now’s the best time to replace it.
Speaking of broken electronics, Gitex trade-in offer is back this year following its success last year. Have unused electronics lying around the house collecting dust? Trade it in at the Gitex Shopper Trade-in and you’ll be rewarded with vouchers to spend during the exhibition.
Gitex has also partnered with Kidzania this year to keep the little ones busy with face painting, arts and crafts, and painting.

Parking at Gitex is free if you spend more than Dhs300 and you can park for six hours at the Dubai World Trade Centre. But remember, you can also use the metro and get off at the World Trade Centre metro station.
