The Crown Prince concluded the series of Tweets stating that he will personally help monitor Dubai’s drive to boost the quality of services.
He states ‘I expect a lot of teams to achieve unprecedented success. All entities must realize that we all work under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed, who only recognises excellence and being Number 1.’
This decision comes just a day after H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai named the worst performing government service centre.
Around 600 government service centres around the UAE were evaluated after Sheikh Mohammed announced earlier this year that the worst and best performing government services would be named. Taking to Twitter on September 14, Sheikh Mohammed named the five best and worst performing services, also issuing a stark message to government officials, warning them that anything short of the best is not acceptable.
Sheikh Mohammed ordered “immediate management replacement in the worst centers with highly capable leaders. We ordered director generals to closely monitor their entities and improve centers’ performance in a month.” And to see to it that this change actually takes place, Sheikh Mohammed added that he will personally visit the centres next month.
