1. Check out the electro night at Louvre Abu Dhabi

If you’re into art and electronic music, then you’ll love this electro night event taking place at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Combining the worlds of art and music, you’ll find international DJs performing amongst cubism-inspired artwork projected onto the dome of the famous museum. The DJs on the line up include Molécule, Amon Tobin Two-Fingers DJ Set, UAE-based DJ’s Hassan Alwan and Tristan Girault from Boogie Box. It will take place from 10pm to 2am and tickets are priced at Dhs150, available here.

2. And here’s one for country music lovers

UAE-based American country band, Down Home will be performing at the Beach Garden of Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi on this Thursday between 7pm and 10pm. The Live Country Music & Beach BBQ Party will cost you Dhs399 and includes unlimited food (think Grandma’s Sunday roast and other home comforts) with four drink coupons. 3. Check out Family Fridays at Sanderson’s

Head to Sanderson’s any Friday this November for the restaurant’s Family Fridays where kids are the stars of the show. There’s a cool menu which keeps the little ones in mind, with dishes such as Nutella and strawberry roll ups, pancakes and mac and cheese. For dessert, there’s home-made ice-cream with healthy toppings and fruit sticks dipped in dark chocolate. Yum! There’s also plenty of activities for them to try in the outdoor playground – a perfect way for them to build up their appetite. There will also be face-painters and games to keep them entertained.

4. Try a new brunch

The Cafe at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas has a newly-launched Friday brunch where guests can enjoy a lavish choice of flavours from the West all the way to the East. Craving Indian? There’s a dosa counter. Persian? There’s a tandoori section. Chinese? There’s kung pao chicken and plenty more from slow-cooked rubs and lamb chop. You will also find a raw bar providing plenty of shrimp, poached lobsters, freshly shucked oysters and more. You can choose to dine either indoor or outdoor on the large deck with the glittering waters of the Arabian Sea to keep you company.

5. Chill out at Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl

6. Learn the art of Arabic Calligraphy

Warehouse421 is hosting a workshop introducing participants to the history and development of Arabic calligraphy, including different styles and examples of canonical artworks through the ages. Participants will progress from making a few basic strokes to learning a basic form of Diwani. You have to be 18 or over to attend the course and it will cost you Dhs200 for three hours starting from 5.30pm.
