XDubai and Jetman are at it again with another incredible stunt – and this time it’s all in the name of promoting Expo 2020 Dubai.

The video, first released on Instagram by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai, is titled Mission: Human Flight, and sees Dubai-based “jetmen” Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen soaring into the skies.

Filmed in the Tianmen Mountain region in China, the two French daredevils are seen getting kitted up in their jetpacks, before throwing themselves out of a helicopter.

In the video, the duo soar through the beautiful mountain range at up to 260 kilometres per hour, watched by stunned passers by below. The clip has since been shared by Expo 2020’s official Instagram account, as well as X Dubai and Jetman.

The wow-worthy stunt, a collaboration between Expo 2020, X Dubai and Jetman, aims to show how human drive has no limit.

“Expo 2020 Dubai takes the first step towards 100% autonomous human flight with @xDubai and @Jetman,” a caption on the official Expo 2020 Instagram reads.

As this human flight stunt has been titled ‘Mission 1’, we’re lead to believe that there will be others.

Jetman, which is the brand under which the daredevil jet men operate, was behind the first man in history to independently fly using a jet-engine powered carbon fibre wing.
