And it might just be the most wow-worthy restaurant we’ve ever seen…

It’s famed as a celebrity hotspot in Madrid, and now Dubai residents can also experience European hotspot Amazonico, as the brand has just opened its doors in Dubai’s DIFC.

Occupying a sprawling three-storey space in Gate Village Pavilion, adjacent to Gate Village, Amazonico comprises of a Copacabana-inspired rooftop bar, mid-level restaurant and ground floor lounge.

The interiors are seriously wow-worthy, and attention to detail is everywhere. Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows on both the ground and first floors, the space seamlessly blends from inside to outside, with cosy terraces and hidden spaces behind every corner.

You enter on the ground floor, where you’ll find the foliage-filled bar lined with plush coral coloured bar stools, made all the more decadent by warmly lit accents of gold.

The ground floor is also home to a sushi counter, DJ booth and low level seating options both indoor and outdoor, perfect for a post-work drink or quick sample of the Latin American cuisine.

For a full restaurant experience, you’ll want to book a table at the first floor restaurant.

Dining in the main restaurant offers you front row seats to gaze into the open plan kitchen, where an army of chefs are at work, perfecting their Latin American dishes for diners.

But there are other seating options too, as the dining room extends round the corner into another separate dining space and spills out onto the terraces, perfect for those wanting to dine alfresco.

The terraces are truly beautiful; think teal-coloured couches, marble table tops and rich green, tropical plants adorning the walls and ceilings.

A real highlight is the rooftop. Undoubtedly set to become DIFC’s go-to hotspot for alfresco drinking, it’s got a Copacabana feel, thanks to bright yellow parasols, vibrant green couches, and tropical plants that line the edge.

Open daily from midday, this might just be our new DIFC sundowner spot for killer city views.

For special occasions, you’ll also find a private dining room on the top floor, which can be booked out for big groups.

Open daily from 12pm, guests can expect to feast on array of Latin American inspired dishes and drinks, fuelled by influences from Europe and beyond.
