W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island has opened its doors
The hotel features three dining outlets and a brand new WET pool terrace…
Abu Dhabi’s Yas Hotel has been taken over by Marriott International and rebranded as a W hotel. The stunning property is the only hotel to be built atop a race track, so you know you can expect incredible views for the Abu Dhabi race weekend. W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island will join W Dubai – The Palm and W Muscat as the third W property in the region.
The hotel has three dining outlets to choose from including Garage, which has incredible racetrack views, Italian eatery Amici and chic Indian restaurant Angar. The hotel pool has been redesigned to give W’s signature WET makeover, with chic retro umbrellas and colourful cushy sun beds.
There’s even an exciting EWOW Suite (a more fun and colourful version of a traditional Presidential Suite), boasts 409 square meters of ultimate luxury spread over two floors. You can even stay in rooms that have amazing track views for your own private front-row seat of all the action.
W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island has opened just in time for the Formula 1 Grand Prix race weekend and there’s plenty of activities happening to celebrate. From Thursday November 28 to Sunday December 1, guests can get involved with pool parties, brunches and more.
Epic Grand Prix pool party OKOKO will be taking over WET Deck for a three-day festival of fun. On Friday November 29, Defected DJ Sandy Rivera and friends will be headlining, on Saturday November 30 Faithless and friends will host a party with ‘jaw-dropping neon production’. The closing party on Sunday December 1 will be hosted by Claptone with a carnival theme from 9pm to 4am as festivities conclude.
The hotel is offering an introductory deal from November 2019 to February 2020, which will get you two nights in a ‘wonderful room’, buffet breakfast for two plus Dhs250 to spend on food and drinks in Garage.
