It’s finally the festive season and there are plenty of things to look forward to, such as putting up the tree and decorating, presents and spending time with family over a great festive meal.

Enjoy a turkey with condiments prepared by one of the world’s top chefs, Ossiano’s Gregoire Berger, for Dhs750. You can even upgrade for Dhs250 to get your turkey stuffed and layered with truffle. For surf and turf instead, Seafire’s chef Raymond Wong is dishing out a a black onyx prime rib and lobster Thermidor with condiments and sauces. Prices start from Dhs1,800. Clinton St. Baking Company and Restaurant

A 5-6kg turkey costs Dhs625 and comes on a bed of kale and redcurrant garnish, served with homemade gravy. You can choose your stuffing and sides for an additional cost. They have baked items, too, such as buttermilk biscuits, Yorkshire puddings, and festive desserts.

There’s a traditional British roast with a 7-8kg whole roast turkey with all the trimmings including pomme puree, homestyle roasted vegetables with rosemary butter, beef chipolata wrapped turkey bacon and more. Get your turkey from every body’s favourite Swedish home furnishing retailer – IKEA. The turkey is available until January 2 for a price of Dhs345. The turkey weighs approximately 6 to 7kg and is infused with thyme and garlic and comes with a roasting pan. You and your family of seven will enjoy a sage and apricot stuffed turkey, plus all the trimmings if you order in from Jones the Grocer. The bird is available on its own for Dhs665, but if you want more, you can get a turkey plus five sides for Dhs899.
