Virtual

If there’s ever been a year to embrace virtual fitness classes, it’s 2020. In the comfort of your own home, line up a week’s worth of online workouts. Try a 45-minute Pilates burn class on Sunday, join a cycling class on Monday, work on your strength and core on Tuesday, hit up the HIIT session on Wednesday, then see out the week with strong yoga, a lower body workout, and a cycling sprint on the final day of the challenge. Find a virtual fitness class here.

Daman Spin Station

DP World Fitness Village Kite Beach

Music sets the tone for your entire spin session, helping you burn through those climbs and churn through those sprints. At the Daman Spin Station, there’s a range of daily classes to suit your mood and musical preferences, from throwback favourites to Khaliji beats. Book your session for this full-body workout here.

Saturday fitness fun on the Palm

Saturday, 11am to 12.30pm
Nakheel Mall

Dubai’s swanky new shopping centre Nakheel Mall is jumping in on the Dubai Fitness Challenge fun with workout sessions on Palm Jumeirah. After a leisurely morning, step up the pace just ahead of your Saturday afternoons with a 30-minute Zumba or Bootcamp class hosted by Fitness First. Keep an eye out for giveaways, as instructors will be handing out free guest passes worth Dhs130 to all attendees.

The Dubai Fitness Challenge was launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, to encourage residents to work out for 30 minutes every day for 30 days. It is organised by Dubai Tourism and Dubai Sports Council, and takes place from October 30 to November 28 with a variety of free workouts to sign up for across the city.
