Every month or so, What’s On picks one lucky hotel to host a glorious weekend, celebrating everything the hotel has to offer the lovely residents of the UAE: good food, good drinks, and a damn good time. We call it the What’s On Lock In and last month’s edition held in the brand new Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk was maybe the most luxurious Lock In event we’ve ever thrown.

But most us ‘hung’ at breakfast, which was sublime. Two words: French Toast.

And then we recovered here all day Saturday by the pool. Phew.
