Channel 4 is searching for British expats looking for love…

Many Dubai expatriates understand the struggle of finding love in the emirate. From the revolving door of residents coming and going at a moment’s notice, to the endless hours of swiping to no fruition, the Dubai dating game can be tough.

British TV network, Channel 4, known for shows such as Come Dine With Me, Goggle Box and First Dates, has out a casting call for expats to take part in a brand new show.

The call, put out by production company The Gold Studios, doesn’t specify too many details about what the show will be called, or entail. However it mentions a need for ‘single British expats’.

A post, shared by a member of the crew on Facebook, requests responses via email, for those interested in applying. While the producers won’t want to give too much away at this stage, interested applicants can find out more over email.

“We are looking for British 20-30 year olds who are outgoing, larger than life characters to front our new reality show”, the post said. The post has already warranted hype, with more than 200 comments on one Facebook group for British expats.
