The Vine Festival is back with new tasting experiences in the UAE
One for the wine fans in the UAE…
Last year, The Tasting Class created Dubai’s first ever wine-tasting festival and now after much success, The Vine Festival is back. Taking place between March 21 and April 10, the second edition will be bigger and better, with experiences planned across the UAE.
The UAE Vine Festival will combine wine tasting with foodie experiences in a series of unique sessions hosted by some of the best venues in the country. These experiences will take you across the globe, featuring countless cuisines and regions.
Whether you’re sampling the best food and wine that South Africa has to offer in The Pangolin, or making your way across the world at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, there’s something for everyone on the three-week line-up, with more events set to be added soon.
Many of the interesting events will have a tasting lesson from a top sommelier included, giving guests the chance to learn something new along the way. The team of experts will be on-hand throughout to answer any of your burning questions too.
Highlights in the calendar so far include an interactive barbecue and wine tasting experience with Hattam Mattar, the world’s first Arab pit master. Plus, don’t miss the Blind Tasting Challenges and the Monte Carlo guessing game.
“The Tasting Class is always striving to showcase the amazing culinary scene in the UAE. We wanted to create a platform that allowed us to continue to do that but, more importantly for us, show how wine can not only complement but enhance the dining experience.
“The Covid situation inspired us to reimagine how a wine festival might work in this environment and while the concept differs from a traditional wine festival, it opens up a number of experiences where people can try different wine combinations,” explains Lindsay Trivers, CEO of The Tasting Class.
Experiences are available to book online now and will get booked up quick. Prices start from Dhs220 per person.
