If the outside world is too hot to handle, we have the ultimate solution. Dubai’s much-loved beach club, Zero Gravity, has launched a brilliant summer pop-up that you won’t want to miss. The Surf Shack has taken over the indoor bar, and is packed with fun stuff to do.

Giving Bali beach vibes from the comfort of the air-conditioned venue, the Surf Shack is open daily all summer long. Taking centre stage above the bamboo bar will be a host of performers, from dancers to DJs throughout the day and night.

Upstairs you’ll find a games room with giant Connect 4, snakes and ladders, ping pong, hula hoops and even a limbo pole. Of course, you’re still welcome to head out and use the glass-fronted pool and pristine sandy beach before heading back inside to chill out.

Ladies’ night is still running every Tuesday and Thursday with some great deals for the girls; or make a day of it every Saturday with a brilliant new brunch.

Asobi brunch offers five hours of incredible Asian-inspired street food and unlimited drinks between 12pm and 5pm on Saturdays. Menu highlights include Vietnamese rice paper rolls to chicken satay skewers, Singapore noodles and Japanese sushi rolls.

Vegetarians can enjoy a plethora of plates including papaya salad, vegetable noodles, spring rolls and dim sum. For the drinks, enjoy house pours inspired by Asian flavours while the live saxophonist builds the vibe.

Brunch prices include all-day pool access at a wallet-friendly Dhs249 for ladies and Dhs299 for guys, with a special price of Dhs199 for teachers, cabin crew (any airline) and healthcare workers (valid ID required).
