We are proud to announce that the very first What’s On the Menu for 2022 will be held at the much-loved, oft-awarded, Filini Garden, Radisson Blu Yas Island.

This exclusive invite-only event will take place at the Yas Plaza location from 7pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

What’s On the Menu is our version of a chef’s tasting table with, of course, a few signature spaghetti-fork twists. First, it’s absolutely free for our guests — and we’re taking 20 of you (that’s 10 lucky diners chosen from the list of those RSVPing on the email address below and their plus ones). Also, arguably more importantly, we’re all about getting you in early for exciting exclusives.

Although Filini Garden has been around for a while, and comes with its own dedicated band of Italian food fan followers, they’re just about to drop a brand new menu (and series of wild promotions).

The new collection will feature taste experiences transported straight from the breezy coast of the Adriatic, flavours inspired by the culinary traditions of Pescara, Chef Marco Gattone’s home city.

Our team of What’s On gastronauts, will be amongst the very first to try dishes such as pallotte cacio e ove (a much adored cheese-centric version of meatballs); with insalata di polpo e patate (a traditional Italian paysan salad) and an artisan’s collection of rustic home-style bruschettas.

The carefully curated pasta contingent has been strengthened too. You can now dive into steaming bowls of authentic, house-prepared chicche di ricotta, served in a rich seafood sauce; there are new tagliatelle and ravioli indulgences too, paired with expert-sourced ingredients including porcini mushrooms and eggplant.

There are fresh main courses to try too, highly-anticipated plates such as sea bream cooked in a foil papillote with sustainability-conscious seasonal vegetables; and Angus grade beef fillet luxuriously slathered in a three peppercorn sauce.
