From Dubai to the capital…

Have you ever looked for an outlet or a release after a tough day and post-work drinks just won’t cut it? Well, now Abu Dhabi dwellers will be able to have a smashing time at the homegrown concept, The Smash Room.

Expanding into Abu Dhabi, The Smash Room will be in the Nahil Building on Al Rawdah Street. This will be the first of its kind in the capital.

In Abu Dhabi, the concept will be slightly different than the typical glass-smashing, printer-hammering fun – the new location will be a more immersive environment inclusive of arcade games, and a cafe.

The new location is open daily from midday to 11pm so you’ll be able to head over at any time of the day to blow off some steam.

From humble beginnings

The Smash Room first opened its door five years ago in Dubai in Al Quoz and was the brainchild of Hiba Balfaqih and Ibrahim Abudyak.

Created as an outlet for pent-up stress and anger The Smash Room became a place for people to gather and have some serious fun.

A brand new cafe concept in the capital means that you can relax and unwind with your favourite mocktail or coffee between smashing sessions.
