The easy, breezy terrace space is then the perfect perch for sundowners with mates, dates, the greats and even those who are always late.

Dine to meat you

The beauty of Above Eleven goes beyond the bar. Make your way past Aztec-art-stained mirrors, banana leaf trees and caged rock sculptures to the venue’s dining room. Here, your edible expeditions are a tour across two hemispheres.

With traditional Peruvian dishes such as arroz con pato made with boneless duck leg confit, and red snapper a lo macho, as well as stunning wagyu lomo saltado, seafood and vegetarian anticuchos (skewers). And from Japan, made-to-order maki rolls, nigiri, and sashimi; baos; tempura and cuts of wagyu fired on a robatayaki grill. Pro tip: the molten chocolate lava cake comes highly recommended to adios the meal.

Turning it up to 11

Take to the lounge and the fiesta vibes continue with live entertainment on show every night of the week, including DJ sets and a percussionist for weekend sessions. There’s a cleverly curated menu of craft cocktails, including house signatures that celebrate Above Eleven’s Latin spirit heritage. Mixology like the brand new Pisco Sour collection, which includes blended liquid fuego from Dhs55 and an alluring range of exotic infusions.
