Exciting thrills await at Yas Winter Fest this weekend

Wishing for a white December as you gaze out at dunes and dunes of sand? You won’t be disappointed this holiday season.
The capital’s newest, biggest winter celebration, Yas Winter Fest is all set to welcome you to a five-day winter wonderland, with plenty of sparkling attractions for visitors of all ages. These will include festive surprises include nightly fireworks and daily tree lighting ceremonies and Santa sightings, while at this snowy paradise, family and friends can frolic in the snow zones and enjoy a mega ice-like slide, daily snowfall, Christmas trees and more. In the North Pole Zone, you can write to Santa, snap your best festive shots and even get your hands dirty at Santa’s workshop with activities like ornament decorating, crafts and gingerbread decorating.
A host of free activities await you and the family, including Kibsons Box Challenge sessions, an exciting snow maze, and attractive giveaways to be won every week. At the Kibsons Box Challenge, chefs will lead you through mouthwatering festive fare such as holiday smoked salmon and prawn terrines, festive tiramisu, and turkey-wrapped fruity stuffed chicken breast. For those of you looking to be entertained, the Festive Stage will feature nonstop wintertainment, including big brass bands playing holiday classics, mini musicals, Christmas carol sing-alongs, school choirs and more. The entertainment doesn’t end there, as jugglers, magicians and of course, Santa himself will spread the holiday cheer on stage in a festive parade twice a day. You also have an exciting tree lighting ceremony to look forward to at 6.30pm.
