The start of the work week calls for some good Italian comfort food. And if you’re keen to try something new, head to Isabella Cucina Italiana at Vida Emirates Hills. Its menu respects and honours regional traditions, and the menu fits on a double-sided card and you’ll find dishes such as spicy salami-topped diavola,  fritto misto, ravioli ricotta e spinaci and more. Whether you need a break from the office hustle or have a lunch meeting, a chic midday meal awaits at Alaya in DIFC. There’s a three-course menu for Dhs148, or a four-course menu for Dhs168. Starters include spiced carrot salad, cheese borek, fried calamari and more. Light up your imagination

Love OliOli? They have a new illuminating activation called Glowtopia, where little ones become creators of glowing art with every step they take. The magical space, essentially… a vibrant and interactive city, will allow children to stretch their creativity. They will be equipped with torches to create glowing masterpieces, reveal mesmerising shadows, and illuminate landmarks like the Expo Dome and Museum of the Future, and more of Dubai’s iconic landmarks. Dining duets with Dubai’s culinary elite

Fancy a unique menu showcasing the talent of the region’s top chefs? We all do. On October 10, there’s a collaboration between Chef Lily Hoa Nguyen of Vietnamese Foodies and Chef Reif Othman of Hoe Lee Kow. Together, the award-winning chefs will merge their culinary background and skills to create a menu of eight dishes with four appetisers (two crafted by each chef), two main courses (one from each chef), and two desserts (one from each chef).
